Glasshouse Mountains 4WD Map?

I acutally went with Summit Mudhogs and run them now since maybe 30,000ks. Great tyres, very quiet, great wear and no punctures at all. I spent the majority of my time on the highway but they do get their occasional weekend workout. Just remember to always lower the tyre pressure when going through dirt tracks then they will last. Next time I'll probably go for the new Summit ATs. They look great and I don't do that much mud anymore anyways.

eBay is full of them now if you have a look for LED head light replacements. Just don't go too crazy with the wattage otherwise you get pulled over. Friend of mine just got done in Mt Tamborine for his HID lights which apparently are illegal.

Hab brandneue MTs (285/75R16, Summit Mud Hog) und vor 2 Wochen sind wir auf Bribie Island gewesen. Sehr tiefer und softer Sand*. Und der Beach Exit, welcher etwa 20m lang und meist komplett zerwuehlt und zerklueftet ist (sind ca. 2000 Autos die da pro Wochenendtag durchfahren) hat es wirklich in sich. Ich hab einen alten Toyoa Land Cruiser Trooper bergauf rausgezogen. Anfaengerfehler - Reifen nicht runtergelassen (echte Australier, gell?) und sich komplett festgefahren. Ich hatte meine Reifen auf 18 PSI (1,24 bar) und hab den locker durchgeschleppt (per Snatch Strap). Trotz massivem Reifenprofil. Der richtige Reifendruck ist enorm wichtig. Okay, und das richtige Fahrzeug. Ich stell mal die Behauptung auf, dass Pajeros und Strand wie fuer einander gemacht sind.

I got the Thumper but it's taking so much space up in my trunk now that I am looking for options of installing a compressor under the bonnet. The Thumper is way to big for that so any advice of a smaller unit would be highly appreciated.

I personally would go either Runva or Warn winches as they are proven to be good and have a very good warranty and service reputation. Any winch can fail at some point but it's about how the manufacturer deals with warranty claims that makes it a good winch I would say.
