My Pajero's name is Daisy. I bought her off a family at Gold Coast as a stock standard vehicle in 2012. I think my first modification was buying bigger tyres. I ended up with 265/70R16 Maxxis Bighorn which I got near new for around 800 AUD. Very loud and noisy but heaps of grip offroad. After getting second hand Nissan Patrol GU springs for about 120 AUD and new Blu Pac rear shocks (Nissan 4Runner) for about 100 AUD I was ready to give the car a decent lift (between 2.5 and 3 inches).
My girlfriend was really keen to build some furniture and as we go camping quite a lot she thought - why not testing her skills on a nice drawer system. So she started measuring everything back and forth and put together blue prints in AutoCAD. From then on it was just a couple of rides to Bunnings to buy marine plywood, sliders, screws, carpet, carpet glue, aluminum bars, connectors, tools and electrical plugs. After a week of her cutting wood, aluminium and putting everything together this is the result - a full set of heavy duty drawers with a very smart opening system and an extra table as well as power plugs. I HAVEN'T DONE ANYTHING (besides supplying credit card and car).

Just a quick update on this guys. I sold my beloved Pajero to a good friend of mine. He's taking care of 'Daisy' now. The last change we did was, stripping the car's interior out, painting all console parts, painting the seats with leather/vinyl paint and replaced the whole carpet. The Paj looks and smells quite new now. :)
