Upgrading Bulbs
I admit it i am a complete noob with lighting, what i want to know is how can i have my factory headlights output the same colour light as my light bar. This is my first vehicle with a light bar I love the whiter light rather than the yellow from the factory head lights. Is it silly that i hate that my headlights and Light bar output aren't colour matched lol?
So is it possible?
Will i get better light output / visibility?
What do i need to do?
Is it worthwhile getting the angel eye headlights instead?
Is it Legal?

Nah, that's totally normally. I went through the same phase until I got LEDs. I didn't have a light bar on my Pajero but I didn't like the yellowish halogen light bulbs anyway. So I went with Narva and Phillips bulbs that were supposed to be super white. Well compared to any LED or HID light they weren't even close so don't waste your money on those. You can get LED replacements now that replace your normal halogen bulbs. I just don't know how legal they are (I mean better light should make the driving safer right?) 🙂
Cool i will have a look at some LED bulbs the yellow light makes the vehicle feel ancient at night compared to my work ute.
eBay is full of them now if you have a look for LED head light replacements. Just don't go too crazy with the wattage otherwise you get pulled over. Friend of mine just got done in Mt Tamborine for his HID lights which apparently are illegal.
Yes its completely normal and you can easily customize the color options depending on your preferred theme
