Just found this info in the wayalife Jeep forum. Apparently a document has been been submitted by FCA (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles) to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration in the United States. The document has listed several Wrangler engine options and their power output. Now the 3.6 Litre V6 Pentastar puts already 285 HP out. But apparently the new 2.0 litre 4-cylinder Hurrricane petrol (!) engine tops that with a massive force of 368 HP.
Could be a mistake but it's an official document and would likely have been checked several times before it was sent off to the authorities. Also interesting is that this year apparently only 4-door models (Unlimited) of the Wrangler Sport, Wrangler Sahara and Wrangler Rubicon are on its way. Production is supposed to start in November this year.
Any theories about the little 4 cylinder engine? I have seen customed tuned ones with bigger aftermarket turbos that put out close 400 HP (my mate had a Mitsubishi Evo 8) but this one here takes the cake.
