Hey Adam, nice to have you here. Okay, shoot all your questions here. What sort of offroading do you want to do (Touring, Bush Driving, Rock Climbing, Competitions) or if you want to do many of those, what would be the ratio (ie. 60% Touring, 30% Bush and Mud, 10% Rock climbing)? 

Hi Guys. Im after some advice regarding small SUV 4x4s. I am in the market for a small family SUV that will be shared between me and my wife. My wife doesnt want anything to big (last care was Mazda CX5. We do some highway ks but not every week and we would like to be able and get out and do some beach driving and some dirt trails to do some camping, probably about 5 - 6 times a year. No real serious 4 x 4. But enough so I dont get in trouble. My budget is under $30k. I do like the Jeep Trailhawk but I do want to get low Ks so most of the Trailhawks under $30k are 80Ks +.  There are mixed reviews about the on-demands like the jeep longitudes, Nissan ex-trails, RAV4s and Subarus. So I am feeling that I might have to go for something with High/Low range like Suzuki Vitara (or Grand) or Mitsubishi Outlander. FYI - I am happy to spend a little bit after I have bought, IE tyres, lift ect. Would be keen to hear others thoughts. Cheers

Hey Adin. Have you looked into the Jeep Renegade or Cherokee KL. The Cherokee is quite capable and there are already some manufacturers out there that offer lift kits and under body armor kits. I saw a lifted Renegade somewhere on Pinterest as well so there are already some aftermarket modifications being made despite this car not being in the market for that long. 🙂
