To the Landcruiser Mountains! Roothy's Farewell BBQ
He's an offroad legend who's driven to the furthest reaches of the country and seen it all, and this weekend is your chance to say goodbye to the most recognised face in 4WDing in Australia, John "Roothy" Rooth. With over a million kilometres under his belt and a love of the outback, Roothy and his iconic 45 Series LandCruiser "Milo" have become key figures in the 4WD community.
A national legend deserves a legendary farewell, and Roothy's farewell BBQ won't disappoint. Hosted at the Landcruiser Mountain Park, QLD from 1pm-9pm, it'll be the biggest event of 2014 and your chance to farewell Roothy in person! Come celebrate a lifetime of adventure and offroad experience and relive 15 years of classic Roothy moments.
Tickets are only $50 and include entry to Landcruiser Mountain Park (normally $45), a copy of 4WD Action issue 219 with special edition Rooth's farewell 2-disc dvd, a limited edition "Roothy's farewell BBQ" cap and entry into a huge prize pool competition. $5 from each booking will also be donated to Unlock Australia.
