Quadrocopter for GoPro

G'day mates. I am looking for an FPV (First Person View) Quadrocopter to mount a GoPro on and use glasses for the view. I have just started filming a bit with my GoPro and where it lacks is height. I need like a birds perspective for what I am after and I haven't found anything yet that would carry the camera. Some models come with their own cams but they are usually crap.

Any ideas?

Certainly easy enough to rig up and mount the gopro as long as the vehicle is up to the task of carrying it. No idea how he did it but my old mans had this working with VR glasses. Used to be mainly on his glider but I believe he's recently put it on one of those quad drones. Important to always have a spotter with you unless its got a built in return function or at least stabilisers as if the signal fails (does happen) when you whip the glasses off you have nooo idea where the bloody hell the thing is haha.

A few people are using the DJI Phantom quadcopter. And for that ultra smooth video they are using a gymble mount. You can get them in a FPV RTF kit so it's just plug and play 🙂
It's on my big big list. It's by no means the best one out there but it is reasonably affordable.
