New Camping Options

Hey all... I've put this up on my FB page, and also on the Downthunder page in the "Posts to Page" section (but it's that small it's easily missed...), but I thought I would throw it up here as well to really get the message out for this new idea/project...

Check it out... Vote for them on PayPal and if they win, they'll get a share of $40k to help get it up and running... I think it's a GREAT idea...

Looks very interesting as we run out of places where we haven't been yet (around sunshine gold coast). Thanks Dan. :)

Yep, certainly opens up a LOT of opportunities around the country... And very little chance of overcrowding with them being limited spaces and private properties... :)

We should include that into our platform as well - a database of camping spots that are only accessible by 4x4s. Let them be rated, reviewed and pictured by our mates. :) What are your thoughts on that?

That would be a good idea I reckon mate... Campsites accessible only by 4WD... or even sites accessible by softroaders, but out-of-the-way and unlikely to be frequented by the cityslicker, soccer mum drivers... Might be worth considering...

I forwarded this to the unlock australia team who have taken it up and put it out to there members to vote as well. so this should get off the ground quickly now :)

.

Sounds good, Nothing beats a good photos or better yet a photosphere when choosing a camp site. This way you can see what terrain you're working with, where you can pitch the tarp, tents, etc.
