New member from Townsville

Gidday. My wife and I have a VW Amarok Trendline auto. Only 6 months old and already crossed the Simpson in standard form, even down to the HT tyres! Actually it was only 3 months old then. She has christened it "The Boy" as she reckons it looks more masculine than any of our previous 4x4 vehicles. They go from a Suzuki ute when the 4 strokes first came out, a Sierra 1L, Toyota Tercel, Forerunner V6, Mazda B2500 dual cab, Rav4, Mitsubishi Outlander, Captiva, Challenger then the VW. The only one that never went to Fraser Island was the Rav4, don't know why. I must admit the Amarok makes us feel happier and more comfortable with it on the whole than we have felt with a vehicle for a long time. "The Boy" went everywhere the other 3 vehicles which are modified, went on the trip out west.
Hoping to catch up with others, maybe go on a trip or two in the future too.
