I found this gem today - 4x4 Evo 2 - an offroad game for 4x4 enthusiasts who just don't have the time, opportunity or car to go offroading.
It's a racing game in which the general point of the gameplay is to cross the finish line before all of the other vehicles. The courses are primarily in extreme environments such as deserts, canyons, and other off-road locales. Players are allowed to customize their vehicle to their liking with a variety of engine, suspension, wheels, tires, and other aftermarket parts and modifications.

I've just found a video of a guy who put the top 5 offroad games together in one clip. My personal opinion, Spintires is the most realistic one by far.

I have looked at spintires for a while but never got around to trying it out going to give the demo a go. A few of the MX vs ATV games were ok with the buggies and what not for a bit of off road action

Tried out spintires but graphics card couldn't cut it, be good if you have a high spec PC
