Fair Trading NSW Warns about Lunchbox-style BBQ Cookers

It's been all over my facebook today that the Fair Trading New South Wales Commission has suspended the compliance certification for current models of the ‘lunchbox’ type gas cookers due to safety concerns.
Customers who bought these cookers are advised to bring them back to the store and ask for a full refund.

“Up to 31 models of butane gas cookers have been withdrawn from sale as they do not meet Australian Standards. Retailers in NSW should no longer be stocking or selling these products.
“Testing, undertaken at the request of NSW Fair Trading and other State gas regulators, has found a fault with the cookers’ shut-off valves, posing a risk that the devices may overheat and could explode.

I have been reading many reports on this an i haven't made it all the way through any of them. 😕
I own one and has sat in my camping corner for about the last 7 years with a gas canister still in it 😛 I personally don't like them anyway. I use either my little fold up hot plate i made in way back in high school or a twin burner camp stove.
So in saying that i might just chuck it.
