Installed Wild Boar Grab Handles today
The current Wranglers (god knows why) don't come with any grab handles to let passengers hold on firmly when bouncing through the shopping mall 😉. So last weekend I found a pair ... of Wild Boar Grab Handles for 25 AUD including shipping. They arrived days ago and last night I got around to install them. They are really study and have quite a weight to them. The installation itself was quite easy. Put both bolts through the handle and add the spacers, line them up with the top and left mounting hole (undo the original bolts there first) and then just crank the bolts. Done. 🙂
I also got around to re-install my CB Radio. Originally I had it install where the drivers side grab handle is now and I hadn't fully connected it as I was waiting for an antenna extension cord. Now I relocated the unit itself to the foot room. So now I don't need the antanna cable extension anymore and the CB Radio unit is nicely tucked away. And the minute I turned it on I got heaps of signal, picking up the chatter from (what it sounded like) some truckers.
So envious of the accessories some makes get, those grab handles look sweet. at first glanceit looks like the UHF would get in the way, thinking about it though i have a brake controller basically in the same spot on my rig and no worries at all. Good Work. 😎
