Engine idle problems

Hi All,

I have a Pajero 1995 3.5L V6 petrol automatic. It has done 190k kms. I have had this for about 1.5 years. Now it is starting to give me problems. When I start it in the morning, it starts as per normal and after few seconds suddenly dies. If it stay fine, it dies whenever I change the gear. Only way to keep it going is to accelerate it while starting and change the gear while pressing the accelerator. When the car is hot it starts and runs fine. When I took it to mechanics, they replaced the idle control valve, cleaned the throttle body, and replaced the air filter.

But unfortunately, problem is still there. Now they are saying it could be something related to electronics and I have to take it to auto electrician.

Has anyone faced same issue? Any help would be great.
