JK or prado?

g'day all,

Well it looks like I've got a big decision to make my wife and I have a Wrangler TJ and love it it's one of a kind and tends to go further than most of my mates Toyota's go. Granted its on 35s and has got a fair lift but no lockers and does fantastic.

However we are looking at going for a 4 dr JK (hopefully a rubicon used 3.6 pentastar) or a prado.

Huge differences off-road (i'd imagine) ive never driven a prado but by judging the weight the suspension travel to the lack of a front axle etc its easy to see their different  beasts. The prados fuel consumption seems so much better and this along with the size difference are the pros for going the prado the Cons are fairly obvious.

One question I have is whats the jk like on fuel in the real world. Also if anyone runs 33's or 35's please chime in. We probobly wouldnt go 35s again as fun as they are off road on road on the tj im getting avg 13-18 l/100

Please let me know what pros and cons are you guys can come up with cheers! Josh
