Fuel consumption

Hi everyone. I purchased a kj 2.8 crdi auto about 8 months ago and I am disappointed to say the least with its fuel consumption. It has done 240 000km. I dont drive it hard and although the country consumption is not bad at 11ltrs per hundred, around town is 16ltrs per hundred. It did have a tunit chip fitted already when I bought it, but I have put it back to original which doesn't seem to have made any difference in power or fuel consumption. I have been using Moreys diesel fuel injector cleaner through it for the last 1000 km. Can anyone tell me if this is normal consumption. I appreciate your time. Thanks Darren
