hey mate, i have a crd and the torque is great, particularly if towing. Definitely recommend getting the auto if you got the diesel as the manual comes with a crappy dual mass flywheel (most convert this to a single). Only thing is for higher km CRDs I would be making sure that it has had a catch can installed for as much of its life as possible, regularly serviced every 5k etc. They are a great motor, but need to be serviced bang on. Jump on the Jeep Wrangler CRD facebook page, it's a great resource. Some videos on the diesel can be found here too: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCj6QdCf_VFsUZ8u727dfFWQ

The 6g74 in my pajero need a 95 premium minimum. I sometimes run the 91 which I don't notice too much of a difference, prob just a little down on power.

Generally agree with the above, with all forms of insurance, always look for the insured events then go through the 'we do not cover' section. if it ain't listed there, as a rule of the thumb you are covered. if in doubt, call them and as very specific questions and make sure you get a specific answer, note the time and date of the call and whom you spoke with. should anything ever happen and they try and back out of cover you can quote it and they will be able to pull the call. If you have that kind of information and you went as far as the obudsman (they would payout before then) you would win every time
