Blazing

Greeting from Brisbane

Found the place after being saved from what I'm calling an "Extreme Parking" incident.
Thank again for the rescue which has gone down as my first recovery

Thanks guy,

The site looks great and it's an excellent concept.

There's probably not a lot of volume for it yet, but have you considered an online chat or IRC room to complement the forum?

To put that into context, The block of land is a high traffic car park and so we had to leave it there all day until the cars cleared out after 5PM... Giving everyone a good chance to check it out.

Despite everything, it's a memory and experience I wouldn't trade.

Oops. It's always better when you can just quietly rectify it and hope no one saw. Not this time though mate

Sorry for the extended late reply, It's going better now days.

Had some issues with the auto locking hubs which didn't seem to go away. I just got some manual locks from eBay and threw them on instead so fingers crossed I'll be able to get it out.

We hit Moreton Island over Christmas as planned and got really lucky that it rained almost every day to help keep the sand firm. Once the rain dried up the auto locking hubs started popping as the wheels went in search for traction. Called it an early trip and got the barge home after about a week, then invested in an air conditioner and just hid to let the sunburn heal.

With all four wheels turning again and memories of the sun fading, I'm ready to stretch the legs once more.

We also picked up a cheap 14ft tinny on a whim which I've been too scared to take out by myself for the first time. If you're into boating I might need to coax you out some time to draw on experience and build some confidence.
