Find out which Dana Differential you have

Hey guys, thought that would be of some interest here. Based on the shape of your Differential cover you can find out which Differential you've got in your car. You often find that the front and rear axle differential have different sizes and strengths. In the Jeep Wrangler you find for example, that the front differential is usually a Dana 30 (the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon has a Dana 44) and the rear differential is usually a Dana 44.

But if you are unsure about your differential size check out this handy image:

If you are unsure about your Axle Gear Ratio on your 4WD then check this VIN Decoder out. It helped me as well as I was unsure whether I got the 3.21 or 3.72 gears in it. Link: http://www.vindecoderz.com/EN/Jeep/WRANGLER
