Intercolonial Remoulds Mud Tyre Review

hey all. after much soul searching, googling, & bank account gazing, I've chosen my new muddies.
they are (drum roll)......... the intercolonial remoulds!!!!
as they are for off road only, I felt the general low speeds of offroading would suit the remoulded tyre. i'll admit, price was a factor, $100 each for 265 75 16 compared to name your price for the big brands, but the fact is, a grand + just for my offroad tyres was not an option.
they will arrive in a week or so, & i'll be keen as to try them out. after all they have federal couragai's to follow on from.
i'll give them a few test runs around glasshouse & then they will be along for the coff trip when that's on.
I'm very interested to se how a remould performs, so I will make this my first ever product review.
i'll measure tread depth when they arrive, & be following wear rates & so on. but most of all, obviously, how they go in the bush.
so let me know if your interested in me reporting on how these babies go.
cheers guys/girls.

Good write up Andy, cheers... no pics there though (obviously...) ... as for the 3 wheel 'Troll, it is a GU after all... GQ's are an entirely different breed... Be Warned!! >:) ... I take it though, you are now quietly confident of maybe keeping up with us...?

Ha ha ya clown! It's only a trap if the victim doesn't know your methods... Unfortunately I know very well your tricks and techniques for being the unstoppable driver... I will NOT be driving into waist deep bogholes on this trip, believe you me...

Please explain the 3 wheeled gu
y_b_normal OP

the 3 wheeled gu....ok...
I his desperate attempt to keep up with the dayo, climbing up out of a creek in a rather narrow track, he kept a little to far to the right & climbed a tree root, it lifted the whole front of the troll 2 feet in the air & then it slipped off & rolled the tyre off upon landing.
no damage at all, except the ego, sat back on the bead nicely, & pumped up no drammas.
it did provide a solid 40 minutes of ribbing, jokes & general entertainment.
even his 4 year old son proudly pointed out the shinny NISSAN badge on the back door as dad got the tools out. so I pointed out how the holden was waiting patiently for the Nissan to be fixed.

Haha yeah good times then.
